

So if anyone can provide any input on why these processes are taking so much memory and why I have so many mysqld and httpd processes (I don't know if its because they're threaded or not), I would greatly appreciate it. The other server doesn't show memory problems like this so that is why I think there is something wrong. The other server's named (same domains since its a slave) is taking up just 18 MB.Ģ) each cpanellogd process is taking over 63 MB of RAM. Here's what's bothering me (if I'm reading this correctly) in the report:ġ) The Named process is taking 65 MB of RAM which seems excessive. At the bottom of this post is a dump of the processes sorted by memory on the server as reported in top. I've just taken over a couple of live cPanel servers and I've noticed a couple problems on one of the servers that I can use some help with.
